Dr. Dalal Al Hilalat, Director of the Office of Institutional Relations, is leading a delegation from the Canadian University Dubai (CUD), which includes a group of professors from various specialties and 18 students. The delegation is visiting Seoul National University (SNU) from March 29th to April 5th with the goal of exploring the scientific, technological, and economic advancements in one of the world’s most developed countries.
Dr. Karim Chelli, President of Canadian University Dubai, revealed that organizing the visit aligns with the university’s commitment to enriching the educational and academic experiences of its students. This is achieved through joint cooperation with major international universities to review the most significant scientific, technological, and economic research at Seoul National University. He noted that the delegation will also visit leading research and technology institutions. Furthermore, the trip includes visits to famous cultural and historical landmarks, contributing to an understanding of the rich heritage and cultural legacy of South Korea, which is considered one of the most advanced nations globally.
Professor Dr. Karim Chelli emphasized the necessity of organizing such scientific visits and trips for students to provide them with the opportunity to engage with global innovations, expand their academic horizons, and gain deeper cultural insights through direct interaction with experts and educational institutions. This helps students acquire experiences and skills that foster self-development and enable participation in the sustainable development of the nation’s strategic plans.
