In furtherance of its community role in promoting awareness of the concept and importance of Future Foresight for the development of societies, Dr. Ahmed Al Ali, Founder of the Arabic Leadership & Foresight Agency, Professor of Sociology at Canadian University Dubai, and Vice Chairman of the Teachers’ Association in the UAE, visited the Sharjah Department of Civil Aviation. He was welcomed by His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Issam Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department.
The visit took place at the Department’s headquarters with the aim of fostering joint cooperation and exchanging scientific and specialized expertise.
The visit aligns with the goals of both parties, focusing on community partnership and the commitment of the Arabic Leadership & Foresight Agency to collaborate with government and private institutions. This cooperation will involve refining knowledge, exchanging expertise, developing skills, and executing specialized plans and programs in all areas of mutual interest, thereby serving the community.
Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of the Arabic Leadership & Foresight Agency, emphasized the necessity of coordination and cooperation with government departments to transfer knowledge, expertise, and skills. He also highlighted the importance of focusing on future plans relevant to the civil aviation sector, which will contribute to finding foresight-driven solutions for potential challenges the sector may face in the future.
Sheikh Khalid bin Issam Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Civil Aviation, expressed his delight with the visit, particularly with a national agency dedicated to community development and acting as a key national pillar that focuses on disseminating knowledge and culture through modern methods and a future-oriented vision. At the end of the meeting, Sheikh Khalid bin Issam Al Qasimi was presented with a copy of the book, The Methodology of (Happiness and Quality of Life). The Chairman expressed his thanks for the gift and wished that the visit would soon result in fruitful joint cooperation.
