This Privacy Policy explains how the Arabic Leadership & Foresight Agency (“the Agency,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Alfa UAE mobile application (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

When you create an account, register for a program or workshop, or submit a request through the App, we may collect:

Company Information

If you register on behalf of a company or institution, we may also collect:

  • Company name
  • Trade license details, if provided
  • VAT certificate details, if provided

Booking and Registration Data

When you register for a program, workshop, consultation, or service, we collect the details of that request, including the program or workshop selected, requested dates, and any information you choose to submit as part of the registration form.

Payment Information

Payments made through the App are processed by a third-party payment provider. Card and payment details are entered directly on the payment provider’s secure payment page and are not stored by the Agency. We may receive limited transaction information from the payment provider, such as payment status and amount, to confirm and manage your registration.

Certificates and Training Records

If you complete a program or workshop that issues a certificate, we maintain a record of that certificate (such as certificate number, issue date, and status) so that it can be displayed to you in the App and verified when required.

Notifications and Device Token

If you enable push notifications, the App may store a device token so we can send you notifications about your registrations, programs, workshops, and account updates. You can disable push notifications at any time from your device settings.

Camera and Photo Library Access

The App may request access to your camera or photo library only when you choose to upload a document or photo as part of a registration or service request (for example, an identity document, certificate, or company document). This access is not used at any other time.

Location Access

The App may request access to your device location only to support specific features, such as coordinating in-person workshops, events, or service requests. Location is not collected in the background and is only used when you have granted permission and the relevant feature is in use.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Process registrations for programs, workshops, and consultations
  • Process company and service requests
  • Facilitate payments through our third-party payment provider
  • Issue and verify certificates
  • Send notifications related to your account and requests
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve and maintain the App

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Our third-party payment provider, solely to process payments
  • Service providers who help us operate the App (such as hosting and notification services)
  • Authorities, where required by law

Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services to operate certain features, including a payment provider for processing payments and a notification service for push notifications. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their service to us and are subject to their own privacy practices.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Certificate records may be retained longer to support future verification requests.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law.
